EMERGENCY RENT ASSISTANCE
DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas is partnering with the City of Dallas to administer $18 million in Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) funds between now and December 31, 2021.

The program helps eligible residents of the City of Dallas who have been adversely financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g. loss of income, etc.) and will provide up to 12 months of assistance for past-due and future rent payments from March 2020 through December 2021.

DHA can issue payments for up to $1,500 per month for rent assistance. Landlords can also apply on behalf of their tenants, and receive payments directly.

As a partner in the Dallas Collaborative for Equitable Development, Dallas College is hosting a series of virtual workshops to answer questions about free job training programs available to members of the Bottom community. Sessions are free, but registration is required and can be completed at the links below.
